How long will my server take to set up?
All of our servers are formated and then a completly clean install is performed before being accessable to our clients. We believe this gives you the most stable system to work from, rather than just quickly imaging the server.
As a result of this, servers can take a while to become available. If your server is a stock server after payment it will be automatically provisioned, and it will therefore take as long as the format needs to complete. On a server with large drives this can take a while, but generally all servers will be ready within an hour.
You can check the status of your server via the Server Manager from within your control panel.
For guidance the average setup time is listed:
UK series (i.e. UK01) - Once fraud check is completed the server will be provisioned automatically, average time to delivery is one hour.
UKu series (i.e. UK01u) - These servers are manually provisioned, time range can vary from 2-24 hours.
UK VPS (i.e. VPS01) - Once fraud check is complete the VPS will be provisioned automatically, average time to delivery is 15 minutes however may vary with OS and control panel. Choosing cPanel for VPS will cause manual provision in which case the VPS can take up to 24 hours.
NL (Dutch) series (i.e. NL01) - These servers are manually provisioned, time range can vary from 2-24 hours.
SH (US) series (i.e. SH01) - these servers are manually provisioned, time range can vary from 2-24 hours.
