Setting reverse DNS

This article assumes that you are already at the management home - if not please see the guide on how to get to that point.

You can assign reverse DNS to any IP added to your server from the control panel. To start, select the IP tab from the management home

IP Management

You will be presented with a list of the IP addresses assigned to the server.

Reverse DNS

Pick the IP you want to change, and click on the corresponding 'Set Reverse DNS' link on the right. The following Pop Up will appear.

Reverse Prompt

You will need to enter the host name for the IP as you desire, then click OK and thats it!

If you need to edit the reverse DNS, just click on set reverse DNS as before, however this time the current hostname will appear in the box which you can edit as you see fit.
