As many of you will know we have experienced some problems with a core Brocade Switch. As a result we will be doing a two phase replacement of this switch.

The first phase is an already planned improvement to the network, adding an additional 10G uplink to the network. This will occur at 0900 - 0930am 07/04/2011 UK time with minimal, if any downtime to the racks.

We will be seeking to replace the router in the next few days after consultation with Brocade to ensure the swap can be done as quickly as possible.
