[Resolved] Netherlands Network

[Resolved] Since 01.25 this morning we have been experiencing a DDOS attack on our network, we have been debugging the issue and null routing IP's as needed. We have been in consultation with Brocade who have been assisting with the issue.  




[Resolved] Power issues UKu series servers

We are currently experiencing problems with one of our racks that house the UKu series servers. The rack is powered and stable but the APC reboot functionality is not in place so reboots are taking longer to action than normal. Updates will follow once a solution is in place.   Update 06/07/2011 - orders are starting to be processed servers loaded into the racks.

As part of our ongoing improvement work to the Netherlands racks we will be installing an additional core router to the network to provide additional redundancy and capacity for peak times. Emergency network maintenence

As many of you will know we have experienced some problems with a core Brocade Switch. As a result we will be doing a two phase replacement of this switch. The first phase is an already planned improvement to the network, adding an additional 10G uplink to the network. We are currently investigating packet loss at Softlayer. Update posted shortly. Update 1 - Switch being swapped. Update 2 - Switch is in, servers coming online as they are plugged in. Any further issues please raise a ticket.




[Resolved] Network issues - Netherlands servers (all)

Any Netherlands servers or colo customers will be noticing packet loss on the Netherlands network. The network is currently under a 7gbit UDP DDOS attack. Generally servers are responding, but slowly. Please note that initially we thought this was an issue with the switch - however this is not the case.

[Resolved] Dutch servers bandwidth / reboot issue

There is currently a problem with the bandwidth reporting / reboot software. This problem is with the link between the server itself and the customer portal, causing either out of date information to be displayed- or a license error. [Complete] Netherlands network issues

We are currently experiencing issues with one of the two core routers for the Netherlands servers. While the network is generally stable occasional drops are occurring. Juniper are currently debugging the issue for us and updates will be posted when they are known.
